Denimsanjdeans.com are the pioneers of denim exhibitions in Bangladesh and Vietnam, and they are organising their first Indian Denim Show during September 25-26, 2017 in Bengaluru, India.

The show will be the first-of-its-kind denim-focused show in India, which will bring reputed denim mills including top local and international garment manufacturers, together on one platform. Key retailers, buying houses and factories from India as well as from Europe, South East Asia and US are expected to visit this show. It will provide a great opportunity to source denim fabrics and apparel.

Denim has been one of the main booming textile segments in India for the past decade. Where the capacity of Indian mills to produce denim was only about 300 million meters in 2005, it has risen over 300 per cent, reaching about 1.3 billion. This makes India stand second only to China globally with over 500 million jeans being sold locally in India. India is also set to get a big lead over US and EU market share in the future, as its consumption increases.

Rising government focus and favourable policies is leading the growth in the textiles and clothing industry of India. The Union Government also recently announced a Rs 6,000 crore special package for the textile and apparel sector. This package will bring forth significant flexibility in labour laws, boost exports and generate employment.
