Fleece Fabrics


Fleece fabrics are unique and obtained from the hair of animals, especially goats. Fleece fibres should be of a specified length to turn the fibres into fabric. Fleece fabrics are mainly used to produce garments worn for protection and comfort during colder weather conditions.

Types of Fleece Fabrics

Horticulture Fleece:

Horticulture Fleece is comparatively thin compared to other fleeces available. It’s a Polypropylene based fabric which is unwoven and available in a variety of widths for many different uses in the garment industry.

Polar Fleece:

Polar Fleece is made with Poly Ethylene Terephthalate. This kind of fabric is basically used for insulation of synthetic fabrics. Polar Fleece is comparatively light weight and soft making it comfortable and breathable while providing adequate protection. It is washable and easy to dry and used for making Jackets, Hats, Sweaters, Hoodies, Blankets and Outdoor clothing for colder weather conditions.

Army Fleece:

Army Fleece was designed for use in the operational cloths of the military. This fleece is the material used for the insulating layer inner in and protects soldiers against harsher temperatures during winter.
